Why can't I find any CSI jobs on Route 2?

Did you know there are different industry hiring seasons? Yes! Here’s some important information for you:
  • Calm down. Unlike finance and consulting, most nonprofits don’t start the hiring process until late fall/ into spring. The opportunities will be out. How will you know when CSI opportunities emerge? A good way to stay informed is to sign up on Route 2 for list serves. Make sure that you sign up for the CSI List Serve!
  • Take a look at UCAN postings. I actually just learned about UCAN last morning during a Career Center training session. UCAN is awesome because 1) you can find additional job postings that are shared with our peer schools, like Harvard, Brown, and Princeton and 2) it focuses exclusively on internships.( https://ucan-csm.symplicity.com/students/index.php/pid728215?s=ho)
  • SPEC 21 is the gem. Yes our lovely alums make possible a wide range of winter real-world experience for us! The deadline is Oct. 19. I know I’ll spend a decent amount of time writing SPEC 21 applications this weekend.
  • ASIP.  Have you been missing out on the Alumni Sponsored Internship Program (ASIP)?  You may qualify to apply for ASIP funding to support your CSI internships!
Need more?  Schedule an appointment on Rte 2 to meet with CSI Advisor, Michelle Shaw ’95, JD, LEED AP.
