Noah Harlan is the co-founder of 2.1 Films, a New York production and development company through which he has produced or co-produced five feature films and numerous documentaries, television and branded content projects.
His features include: Apartment #5C (Cannes Film Festival 2002 – Director’s Fortnight), the multi-award winning Israeli Feature Avanim (Berlin Film Festival 2004 – Panorama Special), Tehilim (currently in post-production in Israel), La Pluie Des Prunes (currently shooting in Japan) and La Fortune (currently in post-production in France). He produced or oversaw production on Meet The Lucky Ones for @radical.media, several seasons of MTV/Granada USA’s Room Raiders; the Lifetime Television Movie Hairstory, the award-winning feature The Shade (Cannes 1999 – Un Certain Regard), the independent television pilot: IFTV, and wrote and directed the award-winning short The Last Supper. Upcoming films slated for shooting in 2006 and 2007 include the American features Crime And Punishment In Red Hook and The End Of A Primitive with Blair Underwood and Greta Scacchi.
Mr. Harlan has appeared on numerous speaking panels discussing international co-productions. He teaches classes on film production and has been a film festival juror. His previous work includes stints as a Casting Associate on numerous Hollywood and independent feature films and television show for Jaki Brown-Karman & Associates and as a Production Coordinator for the soap opera, Another World. Noah studied media at The University of Melbourne (Australia), as well as acting and directing at The British Academy of Dramatic Arts.
